One of the easiest ways to start experiencing the benefits of meditation is to listen to a guided meditation. Allowing someone else to lead the experience allows you to begin training your mind to calm down and relax. Guided Meditation, also called Yoga Nidra, is a also great stepping stone to more difficult forms of meditation that you can explore later.
I created the 17 Minute Vacation as a tool to help myself de-stress. I felt like it worked out so well that I have shared it with others and they have also reported a positive experience. Please use headphones when listening to the meditation because I am using different tones in each ear (also called binaural beats) to accentuate the calming effect.
